The snapping turtle had come out of the river and was crossing the overflow parking lot. It measured about 20 inches head to tail.
Red Tail Hawk flew down and caught, or thought it had caught something under the leaves. It left empty taloned

Native plant, took over after the spartina planted failed indicating lower salinity in the waters
They caught the blues right there. A tidal weir stopped the bunker from swimming farther upstream and the blues were feasting. I don't know where they got the lo mein.
