DOR on the way into the Preserve

Two gators basking next to tall marsh grass wetlands and canal.

On base of tree on path in the Preserve.

On path, no standing water, just very moist soils (after flood)

In dappled shade on a small island in running water from Village Creek. Visible from path.

Very ragged animal with many patches of skin showing through.

Was found sleeping crawled up into a crevasse in the side of a canyon.

Up on rock outcrop in a canyon

Caught up canyon 3 in the preserve was basking on rock ledge

Caught along the bank of the Pecos river near about a quarter mile downriver of from the Independence Creek confluence.

On rock road

Followed quietly for a bit through the brush. It would move away from me a bit, and then pause (repeating).

Under some metal planking at the bottom of one of the fields.

Under a rock along the field along the south border fence.

Found under a rock in fairly moist area near the quarry in Brackenridge Field Lab.

Crawling on shrub branch exposed to sun.

scurrying in underbrush between trees

Walking near road and between two small bodies of water.

Was crawling around on the wooden posts of the Cabin on Blueberry Hill at the bed and breakfast in the Big Thicket area.
Was trying to catch the sun when found.

Small Anuran lying in the sun along trail in Big Thicket Preserve. Didn't know to get better pictures at the time.

Green Anole in Big Thicket halfway down woodland trail. It was sun basking at the bottom of the tree next to the trail.
