This Draba is in the mustard family with flowers of four creamy white petals, though too small to be of any real sustenance. It is confined to the pebble plains in Southern California and extends mirth to the Sierra Nevada.

This is a Dodecatheon species. It resembles D. hendersonii in having rice-grainlike bulblets on its roots, but is less than one fourth the size in stem and leaf, and grows on dry pebble plains in the Big Bear area.
