I love the smell of white sage.
Found this lizard in the willow community of Eaton Canyon.
Scale-broom appears to be very common in the alluvial scrub communities of Eaton Canyon. I noticed several bees feeding from the nectar of this plant. You can see a few of them in this picture if you look close enough.
The alluvial scrub community in Eaton Canyon had a few of these very noticeable white everlasting plants.
Saw a group of these Agaves in the alluvial scrub community. Very large in size but they appear to be in very poor health. Perhaps some rain could help?

California buckwheat is abundant in Eaton Canyon and very common in the alluvial scrub community.
I found several of these water beetles in the riparian community of Eaton Canyon.
Saw this beautiful raccoon wandering around my neighborhood looking for water and food after a very hot day.
Found what appears to be an Argia bipunctulata as I hiked towards the waterfall. Also known as a seepage dancer.
