We explored 20 leaves of this pigeonwood and recorded pathogen or predation damage. I have attached photos of some of the leaves.
There was a black and white gunk that appeared at the same area of the plant. Those leaves appeared to be eaten less.

Saw a silvereye at the beginning of my observation. It sat on a tree (an unidentified tree, but I will upload photo of this tree in hopes someone will be able to identify it.) I have seen a couple of silvereye's land on this tree before, and even eat the berries. But, the silvereye's only landed then flew away this time.

Common Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)Observer

Saw plenty of Chaffinch during my observation today. Many of them flew from tree to tree usually ending on the willow. Many were singing and talking on the willow at once. There were groups of 2-3 birds flying together at once. Could identify these birds because of the white strip on their wings.

Eurasian Blackbird (Turdus merula)Observer

Flying overhead, then landed on nearby willow tree in neighbor's backyard. This was the only bird I saw in this observation, and I must note this observation followed immediately after a constant light rain.

Heard 2 separate magpies. They seemed to be sitting in the willow tree next door. They were talking back and forth for about 5 minutes.
