What

San Francisco Dusky-footed Woodrat (Neotoma fuscipes ssp. annectens)

Observer

evafewel

Date

March 20, 2015

Description

Was living in our house for two days. We noticed lemons, apples and onions in our kitchen being gnawed overnight. Cat food was also disappearing. Probably came in our cat door. For scale the Have-A-Hart trap in which we caught him in the picture is 6 inches high. This would be a Neotoma fuscipes annectens as found on page 289 of the Natural History of the UCSC Campus.
