Description

Hundreds of crows coming to roost behind Magic Hat Brewing. I started to watch them heading north from Shelburne along Rt.7, so I turned left on Bartlett Bay Rd, as that seemed like the best chance to see where they were roosting. From the back of Magic Hat's parking area there is access to a train platform that gives good viewing to the south and east. I watched waves of crows numbering from 100-300 fly in from the east, as well as a steady stream from the south. From 4:10 till 4:35 I estimate 1,500 crows flew in to join an untold number that were already in the trees west of the train tracks.
