Duck swimming along in the pond. Stayed in sight for a long time but did not swim closer to my side of the pond.
He had a light grey chest, white under eye to rear of head. Could not see eye color.
Small White wildflowers. Growing on stem very near a mid-size pond with a marshy shore.
He was napping in a tree in a wildlife management area.
Flew in front of us and perched in a small swampy area.
Sitting on dock piling, crying loudly to get my attention then posed nicely for his photo's.
Many smallish painted turtles sunning themselves along the banks of the parkway. They kept company with mallard ducks and muskrats.
Very large turtle, approximately 18" or so from side to side with a huge head on him.
This is the largest snapping turtle I have ever seen. His shell was fairly smooth, covered in moss or algae.
He has a huge head and long nails he swam slowly in the shallow water.
Still has a bit of his winter coat on his hind legs, right beside the road at dusk
Scolded me all the time I was there, he loved to pose for his photos
floating in pond and not interested in getting their photo's taken
Beetle crawling along the screen. Light tan with brown. No wings that I saw. Six legs and 2 antennas.
Small brownish bird with long bill. Came out at dusk for about 45 min. We could hear him going zeep zeep in the forest edge and then watched him fly up into the sky out of sight, only to land back in the field.
