I have looking for all species living in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico, and I haven't found this one. Local people call them for a name that I don't remember at this moment, but it is not a scientific name.
The one in the picture is a young specimen. It is about a feet and a half long and one feet tall. I have seen bigger than this.
Back legs are larger than the front.
