Small spotted fawn
So badly flattened I could not ID what species.
Must have happened over the last weekend. I smelled this one before I rode past it on my Monday evening bike commute. Didn't get a photo until yesterday evening. This was right in the middle of the Beulah Road gate. Heavily wooded but the speed is only about 15 mph through the gate.

We were sitting on the back deck having coffee after church. A doe just ran across the backyard, jumping several fences. It was a big surprise.
A very skinny and sickly looking animal. Running down the side of a busy road and then crossed in front of me as I was commuting on my bike.

Crossing Aquia Creek on my daily VRE train commute, saw the Osprey lifting off the water with a fish in his talons.
The big Tom I have seen twice in the last month. Didn't have my camera ready as it was supposed to rain on my bike commute.
Bounced out of my bicycle trunk bag and run over before I could reach it. ;-( Poor Yorick, I knew him well.
