Quercus agrifolia with symptoms that really look like a sudden oak death. Bleeding from trunk. Severe canopy thining.
Hey Scott how's it going! This is a big sequoia that's growing basically in the CNPS Headquarters building. I love the street because they remind me that most living things are going to be able to endure no matter what we throw at them. We can model whatever we want but when it comes down to it the plants have the will to live and Our tenure on this place is just a flyspec to them. Here's to the future Sequoia forest of Sacramento!
Queen building the very first set of cells. Absolutely not aggressive, has too much to lose to pick a fight. I even poker with my finger and she wouldn't budge. I bet that will change after she has a few daughters out there happy to help defend
Hen or young tom walking down center of the street
Large male turkey crossing marin avenue. It had an 8 inch beard. Not very street smart had trouble with traffic I can't believe that it survives down here it is probably a visitor from a more rural population
