Field Notes - From its shape, wings and size (about 2.5cm. body length) it appeared to be a forest mosquito in this region of dense vegetation. The right middle leg was injured so it was unable to fly easily.

Field Notes - A pair of these Indian grey hornbills (Ocyceros birostris) has been seen frequently in this residential colony of South Delhi having a lot of trees. It is a large bird with grey feathers, a dull white underbelly and a long tail. Sits high up in the trees and then gracefully glides off to another.

Footprints of flamingos(pic 3) and feathers and one dead flamingo (pic 4) were seen on the dried salt flats of the White Rann of Kutch in Gujarat.
