No flower to be seen, but rest assured I would stray from taking the time to smell this rose.
Seals are here in the summer months pulled out on the beach taking a break from the water while they molt their skin.
Seen swimming in a spot of sunlight in the creek near the bridge. Unsure to what they may be, but I was thinking some kind of trout.
Birds were in silhouette so I took some liberty with the photo.
Seen sunning itself along side the road. Lots of thimble berry, huckleberry, and twin berry in the area. Not completely sure on the ID.

Found along side Pescadero Creek on a sandbar. The spider was laying in wait in the piles of driftwood, pine cones, and acorn husks that was up on these sand bars. Coloration of the spider matched well to this "duff" material which had blacken.
