I don't know if that's what it is but it looked pretty close. it was seen sitting on a dandelion leaf close to the ground
I could not get close enough to get a proper identification, but they were gathered in the pilings by the ferry dock.
this is just the shell, but they are scattered all over the beach. This one also had a hole drilled through it. Evidence of a moon snail?

I believe this to be a kind of kelp, but I have never seen it before. It's caught on a piece of drift wood and those are sacks of air hanging down from the stem.
growing underneath pine trees. This one I am unsure about because the cap is a very light color but it has an orange tint to it, and there have been observations of white ones before.

They were domesticated, but they are almost more common than dogs there.
I believe it is a kind of moss, but maybe it's too big to be a moss. This one really baffles me.
