Really strange but - those are a tourist attraction in National Park Seewinkel ;-) rabbits originally weren't native here (only hares are!) but now are a part of wildlife (for centuries already), and as they aren't too common here - and immensely popular in their role of Easter Bunny - I've got suspicions that the national park management is breeding them here for the tourists ...

Occurrence: not uncommon in general and in waters which isn't too clean, like is the case here, it is growing abundantly.

Habitat: raw rubble near a newly built road
Occurrence: Rare but not extremely so in Eastern Austria, this place here however is special: in this neighbourhood it is a very rare plant but newly built roads created dry rubble where it found a new habitat - on some places only in very small numbers but here with a population of at least a hundred plants, which is not so often seen from this species.
This, however, is only a transitional habitat - either it will be overgrown by other ruderal plants pretty soon - or city gardeners will change it into a regularly mown lawn.

Occurrence: In Austria quite a common plant only on March river, elsewhere it is however rare (even here in Danube national park!) or missing in many regions; however, occasionally you also find them planted or as escapees from culture. This occurrence here should be natural.
