This Colubrid snake was observed during the day in the Asa Wright Nature Center in northwestern Trinidad.
This pair of Striped Geckos was observed around the Asa Wright Nature Center. This species is sexually dimorphic; the male (above, left) has a distinct stripe while the female is spotted and lacks a stripe. Also observed here was the endemic toad Rhinella beebei, the endemic Trinidad Poison Frog, Mannophryne trinitatis and the endemic Trinidad Brilliant Gecko, Gonatodes ceciliae.
This male Brilliant Gecko was observed around the Asa Wright Nature Center. Also observed here was the endemic toad Rhinella beebei, the endemic Trinidad Poison Frog, Mannophryne trinitatis and the Striped Gecko Gonatodes vittatus.
This endemic toad was found during the day under debris near the Caroni Swamp National Park.

This male Trinidad Poison Frog with tadpoles on back was observed around the Asa Wright Nature Center. This species was extremely abundant in this area; hundreds were seen around the grounds of the facility in a short time period. Also observed here was the endemic toad Rhinella beebei and the brightly colored gecko Gonatodes ceciliae.
