It seems like they were planted not long ago because there weren't that many present in that area.
About 15m tall. Bark whitish grey. Red Catkins. Leaves have just sprung out. In the same site, there are some grassy plants as well as ferns (mostly sword ferns).
Spotted frequently at swampy and shaded areas along the trail. Flowers consist of 3 white petals and the shape of the flowers almost look like a triangle. Leaves are triangular-oval.
Yellow-green leaves about 1-2 cm long. Tips are lighter-colored. Not sure if this is an actual moss or moss that grow on decayed wood. Reminds me of the Lorax.
About 10-20 cm tall. Leaves are alternate and heart-shaped and smooth. Dominant ground-cover species in moist and shady areas.
