I picked a cherry tomato from my garden in early September, not realizing there was a Monarch chrysalis attached to it. I rigged up a way to let it hang free and kept it in my house. On 9/25 it began to emerge, which I noticed probably 2 or 3 hours after it began the process. Sadly, the butterfly didn't make it. It seemed to have become stuck and could not emerge.
Interesting fungi on the cord wood.
One creepy sight! Poor Hornworm!
Baby American Toad, with baby Spotted Salamander. Found in the cord wood pile
One long Tobacco Hornworm making short work of my cherry tomatoes!
