Malibu state beach. Lots of Sargassum muticum wrack along the beach. Also, observed lots of Cystoceira osmundacea wrack.

Lots of Sargassum muticum wrack scattered along the high tide line at Malibu State Beach. Tide was low, but the surf has been up.
Also observed native Cystoseira osmundacea and Macrocystis pyrifera wrack mixed in with the S. muticum.
Water temperature felt very warm for this time of year.
