Observed in talus slope with numerous pikas present.
Deceased on road near trail-head.
Didn't get a great look at this individual and at first, I thought it was a dog. The watershed in this location strictly prohibits dogs and the trail is a popular one. It was large enough, and walking with the confident strides associated with a wolf, but ultimately, the possibility of it being a wolf at this location is pretty slim. I attempted to get a photo, but by the time I had retrieved my camera from my backpack, it had gone into the woods. That said, never seen a coyote at this elevation or habitat in Utah.
Numerous individuals heard along Mt. Aire trail.
Heard often, rarely seen along Mt. Aire trail.
Four individuals including two juveniles foraging alongside the Mt. Aire trail.
Heard some branches crackling near the trail which I initially thought was squirrel activity. When I turned to look I saw this individual a few feet from me. My closest encounter with a moose.
Flushed five individuals while hiking early morning. I believe this individual was looking out for her young(one seen in second image) while I was there.
