Missing LocationDescription
My sister saw this bee looking insect. It was on a honeysuckle bush and was keeping bees flies etc.away by pouncing on them. Like its protecting a territory. It has a long horn that comes out between its eyes. Twice the size or more of a bumble bee. Can anyone please help to identify it? Six mile lake muskoka.

Can anyone confirm if this is a hermit flower beetle. Or tell me what it may be? It was found ( or I should say it found me )in the forest and flew both time I saw it into a large tree cavity. It actually chased me both times. And I am not kidding. This thing homed right into me both times and would not let up. Lets just say it was quite an experience.Very large and very loud.Quite the beetle!!!!
