Description

At 5:02 p.m, I found some moss on a large oak tree. The moss was fibrous, green and light brown, and seemed to completely circe parts of the branches. To touch it was fairly dry. The weather that day was very warm, sunny, and dry.

Description

At 4:36 p.m, I found this fern-looking plant off the "Fire Trail" at UC Berkeley. This plant was about 3 ft in diameter, was a dark green, and had spores beneath its fronds. The weather when observed was very warm and dry. The fern was located in a forest-like environment alongside other ferns.

Description

At 4:34 pm, found large bushes and stalks that were thorny, had dark green leaves, and were covered in red and dark blue berries. The weather was very hot and dry and the organism in question was found near the "Fire Trail" at UC Berkeley.

Description

Found this spiky, thorny, weed-like plant on the "Fire Trail" at UC Berkeley. It had almost feathery flowers that were cream-colored or a light purple. The weather was very hot and dry, the time was 4:30 pm.
