A nest of snakes (uncounted) in tubing of an old aluminum chair partially buried on wooded edge next to sandy agricultural field. Nest was only buried a few inches in soil, moss, leaf litter. Reburied, to be cleared out after snakes leave hibernation.

sorry for the poor photos, It was quite large-maybe 2", & the back coloring is unique with its shading from amber to black, plus the amber on leading edges of wings.
