A little bury but this was actually a screenshot from a video i took as we were driving past. I don't know if you can see the black horned beauty in the middle of the screen but i sure didn't. My co-pilot got the credit for spotting this one.

Found this little guy and many like him on top of a rock, staring at the panting hikers as they climbed Angels Landing. The only thought I had was how his lungs work differently than other animals and how his skeletal system has his feet placed below him instead of to the side like early reptiles. 笑

Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus)Observer

Uncommonly known as the Odocoileus hemionus, it lives off of vegetation and the surrounding campers at Zion National Park in Southern Utah. This is a sad story with human intervention being destructive to wildlife and domesticating the undomesticated.
