A spiky flower with pink petals. It rather looked like like a weed and seemed to have a "feather-like" texture. Found during the afternoon in sunny dry weather at UC Berkeley's Strawberry canyon on the fire trail. The petals and leaves seemed healthy and the flower was facing in the sun.
