Description

At the greenway, we encountered redish-orange colored mud within the water. Because of the presence of industrial pipes nearby, we felt that the discolored mud was indicative of pollution within the stream.

Description

About an inch long, 1/4 wide. burrowing under rocks along the shallowest of water. light brown coloration.

Description

Many of the rocks were coated in this green algae, at least half an inch thick. This could have been caused by oxidation of the water.

There were plenty of tadpole fish in the shallower areas of the river. They were especially close to the drain pipes.
