Male quail eating mixed seed from ground feeder. We seem to have several flocks living in our chaparral.
Fox eating sunflowers in ground bird feeder. Been resident in Himalayian Blackberry bushes for about 4 years now since last cat died at 18. Male and Female and 8 kits observed in 2010. Neighbors also observe eating bird seed on ground. Note: the mice and rat presence has diminished! ~West Sonoma County, CA
