Description

I need to get a decent pic of this. Unfortunately, it almost always grows with poison oak. Supposedly, you can crush the stems and rub them on places where you think you've touched poison oak to prevent getting it. I always used to do this as a kid. Not sure it ever worked.

Description

Growing up, we were never in New Hampshire early enough to see this in flower, but I remember seeing these blue berries every summer. Turns out it's a spcies of Clintonia, a genus I now know from the West Coast's Clintonia andrewsiana!
