Somehow it never registered with me that arrow arum was... an arum, and that it would have arum-like flowers. So cool. Check the pollinating flies.
Vaccinium macrocarpon. Can you believe this is a) Vaccinium and b) a cranberry?! Looks more like a shooting star.
Pretty sure this is Labidomera clivicollis. Looks right, and there was certainly milkweed around. Not sure if the plant I found it on was milkweed, though.
Not really sure what this stuff was. Looks like a moss, but the structures at the top... confuse me.
I think this is Sisyrinchium angustifolium, but I'm not 100% sure. Still, very cool to see a blue-eyed grass on the East Coast.
