Some type of butterfly with a black or dark brown body and lighter tips. Most resembles a Mourningcloak butterfly.

Based on the flower shape and size and characteristics such as the white petal color and yellow center as well as petal shape and number lead me to believe that this is a Pacific Dogwood.
I know that these birds are ducks but I am unsure of the specific name and species.
