Around 9:45 am, we found 3 individuals of Barred Hawk soaring over the canyon, vocalizing. Two of them were at the same height, the 3rd one was higher.

There was another chick with its parent (adult Harpagus bidentatus) with very similar characteristics and age, 300 meteres away in straight line.
Compared the cere, iris and leg colors with a juvenile of the species and they match.
