mintish looking plant as far as size of flower. It looks much larger in picture. I was being hurried along so I didn't get to check it out real good. We were late for daughters class. I'm sorry I have no info on whether stem was squareish or anything though I suspect it was.

Feathery leaves alternate stems. About 6 feet tall. Seems to grows in many locations. I have seen it growing in sand at lake erie and on roadsides. I have never seen it in bloom but have seen green berries on it
Growing on roadside. About 4-5 feet tall. Some were blooming white and some were blooming dark purple.
