Linanthus, Figueroa Mountain. The pistils on some of these seem to be at least the 7mm maximum described in Jepson. This plant is wind-pollinated, and does not self-pollinate. I wonder whether it practices protandry. I believe research was done on this species on Figueroa Mountain, because I was asked where populations could be found.
