I was walking my dog headed south on Garrison St. A coyote crossed Garrison headed west about 20 feet in front of us. It stopped briefly to look at us and then kept going and disappeared into a line of dense landscaping on the west side of Garrison.
I suspect this is the same animal I observed a few minutes earlier at 52nd and Dudley St, but I have no way to confirm or deny this as it was too dark to discern specific ID features.

I was walking my dog headed north on Dudley St. We reached W 52nd Ave and were getting ready to head west on Dudley when I noted a coyote trotting west on 52nd on the same sidewalk we were on about .5 blocks away. It stopped and turned sideways as soon as we stopped to note it. I said, "What are you doing!" in a forceful voice. It stared for about five seconds and then it turned and trotted east on 52nd. It broke south into a yard shortly after it trotted away.
