Very bright yellow growing blob,
showed up over night on top of bark mulch in our front yard. Have never see anything like it before. Top is drying out but inside is like soft custard. under the yellow mass there is fleshy red stuff on top of the bark. I sprayed it with filtered water to keep it from drying out and top started to turn red. There are two growths, one I moved to a cooler shaded area and the other I covered with some plywood to keep it out of the sun which it clearly does not like....any ideas what it is?
