Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus)

Description

A picture taken of 6 Mule Deer, all doe. Order (Artiodactyla) and family (Cervidae), species (Odocoiteus hemionus). Driving through Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah. The size of their ears, and the black tip of their tail, helped distinguish it from a white-tailed deer (WTD). Their overall body size was less muscular then a WTD.

I think this picture is a rock squirrel in a rail supply yard. Order (Rodentia) and Family (Sciuridae) Species(Otospermophilus variegatus) . The size of the ears, and length of the facial features, and the coloration of the fur and tail makes it look like a rock squirrel. ID confirmed by community.
