Found near the north bank of the marshy area by the Parmer Lane Bridge. This is where I've been seeing willow trees chewed down by beavers for the past few weeks. I have no idea what happened to this beaver. There were no other body parts around, although I did not look very hard.
This is the largest willow tree on the north bank of the marshy area by the Parmer Lane Bridge. Since last time I was down here it has been about 2/3 chewed through.
Orange body with blue highlights, red eye, blue lips -- what a beautiful fish!
Taken during the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge Christmas Bird Count.
These are the tiny frogs that make a sound like banging 2 pebbles together.
