On the sidewalk I noticed a bug that was not moving. I believe it was dead . It was a large insect. The size of a piece of gum. It had a white puss coming out of it. I had no idea what it was until I googled what large insects in Ontario. I stumbled upon a picture of a swamp cicada. This looked similar to my photo. From the similarities of the two pictures I believe my insect photo is also a cicada.
