Tan-ish Orange and brown it is an animal in the forest, running to catch a squirrel for a meal.It also has webbed-like feet. Its tail looks like hair in the summer, but I think in the winter it's hair turns into white to camouflage so it can not be eaten by other predators.

mrssnicholsDescription
We saw green, slimy, slippery groups of seaweed. They had pocket-like "leaves" and they were laying on rocks near the spot where the freshwater of The Presumpscot River meets the saltwater of the Atlantic Ocean (brackish water). It was low tide moving into high tide. The fresh water was murky and it was mixing with the clear, blue salt water. The spots where the waters were mixing were white and foamy.
