A few large gulls among the multitudes, pecking at the dead horseshoe crabs.

Didn't notice it at the time, only during review of photos. There was a pair of them.

Striking birds.

Probably the highlight of the trip, watching skimmers in the late afternoon, doing what skimmers do. We saw maybe 5-6 different groups of 1-8 birds each.
