Not a sharp picture, but still interested in the ID so that I can start paying more attention to these guys. A quick google image search suggests that it might be Prosapia bicincta? I did actually notice several foam masses on leaves.

Likely two different individuals, but the same species I believe.
Not sure if this is a liverwort or not, they were leathery but flexible and quite large. At another site, some of these "flaps" were as large as plates.
