Got to hear it's sound, definitely H. squirella as opposed to H. cinera (American green tree frog)

What
Reishi (Subgenus Ganoderma)Observer
nathaniellordDescription
Definitely a gangster a species, but I'm not good at distinguishing the different kinds. Was growing near oaks and hollies.

What
Boletes (Family Boletaceae)Observer
nathaniellordDescription
Hard to tell in the photo, but definitely has the characteristic yellow foot at stem base with the addition of dots/scanners on stalks. Lack of any blue staining of damaged flesh distinguishes it from B. bicolor.

Young bitter bolete. Still has the purplish coloration. Growing in mixed woods near lots of oaks.

Lovely russulas. Another favorite mushroom, even if you can't make a meal out of them (the name really says it all).

Lovely fruitings of bicolored boletes. These are some of my favorite mushrooms to find.

What
Green-spored Parasol (Chlorophyllum molybdites)Observer
nathaniellordDescription
Hard to see in the photos but these are definitely getting the green stained gills distinct to C. molybdites.
