-1 was spotted within the grasses
-Began to chirp loudly for a few minutes, possibly mating call
-Once I began to get closer it stopped chirping and wasn't visible and blended within the grass
-2 minute observation

-Storrs, CT, Fenton River, 3:05 PM, 61 degrees, cloudy
-Flew and landed on small leaf
-No behavior recorded didn't even move and was extremely still
-As I approached to get closer it flew away

-Had brown wings, and was fairly small

-Central Park, New York City, 4:08 PM, 66 degrees, cloudy
-Mallards were within surface of lake
-Young mallards were following one larger adult mallard possibly mother
-Group of about 4 total including adult mallard
-5 minute instantaneous scan observed

-Brownish/greenish body, slightly small
-Piscataway, NJ, uncle's backyard, 63 degrees, sunny
-Appeared in backyard on ground
-Blended in with grass
-Sat for a few seconds then wasn't visible
-Ad-lib

-Grayish body, black beak, slightly small
-Piscataway, NJ, 10:33 AM, 60 degrees sunny, in uncle's backyard
-Made a chirping call possibly mating call or danger call
-Sat on branch and looked around constantly, before flying away

-Brown squirrel
-60 degrees, cloudy, 4:06 PM
-Walking out of class towards car
-Ran past me initially, onto street than across road
-Holding/chewing acorns
-Then quickly climbed up a tree

-Duck was waddling around the grass, and near the edge of the pond
-Was eating bread
-1 minute observation
-Pulled over to observe the duck while driving around

-Addison Pond, Glastonbury,CT
-9:30 AM, foggy/cloudy, 60 degrees
-Saw it swimming around pond, but hard to tell it was somewhat dark, and foggy
-Slightly large in length
-Saw someone who was fishing catch the bass

-Group of blackbirds, total 6
-10:45 AM, Glastonbury,CT, 65 degrees
-Searching for food, head was up and flying around were behaviors recorded
-Scan sampling was used, 10 scans, 30 seconds each

-Flew around and landed in my backyard
-Began to mill around and search for food
-Displayed behaviors of shaking and squawking as well

-Scratching most of the time
-Looking at ground for food when not scratching
-Staring back up towards fence
-Attempted to hide in bushes at times
-However, was alert throughout 5 minute observation

-Walking from Towers Lot to van this morning before going to zoo

-Very sunny
-Red Robin was milling around looking for food
-Began to chirp loudly for about 30 seconds
-Then flew away

-Female Red-winged Blackbird

-Rainy/Windy weather conditions
-Was constantly chirping loudly
-Possibly a mating call since there were males in her prescience

-Stood in one area and had very little movement

-Pecking at ground
-Constantly walking around
-Attempted to eat insect
-Flew to eat insect in the air and struggled to get the insect
-Flew after another male redwing blackbird and begin to peck at it
