This was the second observation for cane toad in the same day, but this one was found on it's own inside a cave, the cave was again pitch black. The steepness of the cave entrance would make it very difficult if not impossible for the toad to exit, maybe it has been down in the cave since it was a toadlet.

Came across this pair of cane toads inside a cave, next to each other and hiding between a rock shelf.Only one is pictured. The cave is pitch black, no light at all. Potential food sources available in the cave would be cockroach, whip scorpion, Philippine orange tarantula, gecko's, other smaller toads, other invertebrates, dead bats.

I found this today dead on the side of a road in a suburban street,may have been a victim of a cat. It was covered in red ant's, tried to remove the ants to photograph and turned over to get a belly shot. You can gauge how big the snake is from he size of the ants!

This is a wild tokay gecko that has been living in my house since it was a hatchling, we have the front door open everyday, but it prefers to stay inside, usually hiding behind the TV during the day and venturing out at night. Very shy and nervous compared with the common house gecko's that live here also.

House gecko's are probably the most commonly observed reptile in asian homes, and these are plentiful both inside our home and outside.
Preferring to come out early evening onwards to feed, however they can be observed in the open during the day, usually in a shady area or inside behind a curtain. They tend not to mind being near by to others of the same species, although they do sometimes have territorial disputes with other males that come by, sometimes resulting in one losing their tail. I regularly see them with regenerated tails.
