This acrida species made its way into my house one day.
So with a bit of help from muir, I figure this has to be an Ophryastes beetle. Still don't know the species though.
I think this is some kind of caterpillar, but I really have no idea what it is. The locals told me not to touch it because the hairs cause irritation.
This dude was huge! He was crawling around my yard one day.
I saw this guy out in the bushes by my house one day. He (or she? I can't tell) was beautiful, so I snapped a photo.
