I believe this is some species of cotton bug, but another verification would be nice!
Not sure if this is the same species as the last one, but they were all in the same community web, so I assume so. . . ?
I saw this guy on a leaf of a spice plantation in Zanzibar. There were swarms of them everywhere, but I'm not an ant specialist so I have no idea what they are.
This plant doesn't look very interesting, but it's a living fossil!
Beautiful hornbill right on our campsite near Brandberg Mountain.
Some tadpoles I saw swimming right near Epupa Falls.
I believe this is some kind of agama(?). . . but I could be wrong.
Some kind of skink near Epupa Falls.
Some kind of hermit crab. . . ?
A Cape Cobra we accidentally ran over on our road trip through Kunene/Erongo. Although it is not black, I believe the ID is still correct. . . ?
Another little crabby guy I saw in Stone Town, Zanzibar.
I love these trees.
At first I thought this was a violin spider, but the speckled pattern on the abdomen makes me second-guess myself, since usually violin spiders have plain colored abdomens. It was also just slightly larger than violin spiders usually are. Any help would be nice!
