Description

I saw this lizard alongside the road in Mazunte, Mexico. I think it is a member of Aspidoscelis or Cnemidophorus, but I couldn't find a good guide to the lizards of Mexico

Description

I saw this lizard sitting at the edge of a small stream, just outside a town on the shore of Lake Catemaco. The roots it is sitting on give some sense of scale, but it was about 10cm long, excluding the tail.

Description

I saw it on the ground outside the hostel I was staying in, at night. It froze when I shone my light on it. I took a few photos and a video before it slid away.
