Red-tailed hawk with gray squirrel entree on the campus of University of Akron.
Larval stage. I'm out to eradicate them before they mature.
Somewhere in this is a Common Gray Tree Frog, ID'ed by call. It sang often enough to keep me hooked and looking....and available to a host of mosquitos. First time we've heard this one. I believe he's moved into our little pond for mating, so I'll keep looking for an opportuity for a picture.
My reference for ID'ing the call is found here:
Three fledgling Blue Jays, only one of which is capable of short and difficult flights.
2 fledglings, still unable to fly.
English House Sparrow nestlings. These have done tremendous harm to our resident Blue Birds.
Spicetail swallowtail larva

ID'ed by call heard at 11:30 PM. Map indicates general area from which we heard the call. First time in 7 years we've had any sign of owls in the neighborhood.
