I saw what I think is a tree swallow. It was pitched on top of a bird house in a open field on the Museum grounds. What stood out for me was the white belly and dark blue feathers on it's back.
This tree was planted along the eastern edge of Museum's property.
I saw this insect crawling on a bench at the end of our nature trail. I just found out that this was the larvae of a lady bug! That is so cool to see the beginning of this insect's life.
