Eastern Painted Turtles sunning themselves on a log in Cambridge Ontario
When I first saw this bird I thought that it was a Sparrow or some other small bird but on closer inspection I discovered it was actually just a really smal Robin. It perched on a tall post for a bit observing its surroundings.
I saw this Bullfrog with its back turned to me while on a BioBlitz in the Rouge Valley in Scarborough, Ontario. I found it interesting that the way its eyes sit on the side of its face it was able to see me and leap away when I tried to catch it for a closer inspection.

I found this American Toad about two weeks ago unfortunately I found him by accidently cutting off the tip of its back right leg. I caught it and put it in an old terrarium I have and bought it some crickets and monitored its appetite. A few days ago I put him in the bath tub and found it could still swim fairly well so I decided it was time to release it. I know your supposed to release animals where you found them but my coop just hired a lawn maintence company and I didnt trust them to watch for toads. I decided to release him close by in a rain run off pond. It appeared happy to be back in the wild where it belonged.
I saw this Green Frog in the Rouge Valley while on a BioBlitz. I saw a few other Gren Frogs, and adult Leopard Frog and a few juvenile frogs no bigger than a penny.
I found this juvenile frog while on a BioBlitz in the Rouge Valley. It was no bigger than a penny. I'm pretty sure it was a young Leopard Frog but correct me if I'm wrong.
While on a BioBlitz in the Rouge Valley in Scarborough, Ontario I fortunate enough to see dozen of Painted Turtles basking in the sun on logs. Some of them dove into the water on my approach but most ignored me.
I was at a BioBlitz in the Rouge Valley and I found dozens of these snails right in the middle of an unmarked trail down to a pond. Most of them weren't visible and likely to be crushed so I collected as many as I could and moved them out of harms way.
I observed this European Starling at the Toronto Zoo outside of a restaraunt. It was looking for scraps as were some gulls and sparrows.
I saw this wild Canada Goose at the Toronto Zoo it was acting aggressive I believe that it was nesting

I saw these wild American Wood Ducks at Toronto Zoo the also had a few ducklings
I saw this wild Bullfrog in an amazing pond brimming with life at the Toronto Zoo
This Red-Winged Blackbird was being extremely territorial dive bombing my brother to scare us away from its nest
I observed several Red-winged Blackbirds flying around the park
I watched three male American Robins on the ground in close proximity to each other chasing each other
